The South Midwest HERC (Higher Education Recruitment Consortium) is dedicated to assisting talented, diverse candidates in finding a career in higher education in Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and southern Illinois.
Employers and job seekers use the South Midwest HERC daily to post and locate jobs in higher ed in the St. Louis metro area, Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and central Illinois. Higher ed jobs in South Midwest are not limited to faculty. Employment opportunities include clerical work, managing day-to-day campus operations, and administrative positions. Employment is available to higher ed newcomers as well as seasoned professionals, not just at public and private colleges, but at medical schools, teaching hospitals, and private labs.
